Lower Cost, Better Results, World Renowned Doctor. Free Consultation.

Infertile patients cannot afford to wait for treatment while their eggs get older.

Dr. Sherman Silber, Infertility Center of St. Louis, is offering video consultations for patients who need to plan now for their treatment while stay-at-home orders are in place. He is talking to and evaluating patients in their home to comply with social distancing measures.

Dr. Silber is discovering that patients actually prefer this method of telemedicine consultation over the conventional office visit. Patients have conveyed that “it is so much more convenient and less stressful” to have a telemedicine personal consultation than to take a day off from work to travel to the doctor’s office and sit with other nervous patients in the waiting room.

The COVID-19 pandemic is thus changing much of the way we will do things in the future, and for the better. “Our patients are surprisingly much happier with this approach. Of course, at some point we need to perform hands on treatment. But with this new manner of seeing patients, we can come to the right diagnosis and treatment plan for most patients more efficiently, quickly, and painlessly, with no loss of personal one-on-one communication.” This is a very welcome new era of telemedicine that has been forced on us by the current difficult times.

Stryhal Family

Sherry and I were thrilled to let you know of the birth of our son, Killian. Please feel free to share our story. We hope it will give some encouragement to other couples.

We came to see you for surgery in September of 2013, nearly a year after a doctor tried to perform a reversal and failed. Sherry and I were heartbroken when we learned the earlier surgery wasn’t successful. While doing research into the special needs for vasectomy reversal success, we kept running across your name and were pleasantly surprised to find you practiced in St. Louis. Sherry and I remember how positive and calming you were pre and post-surgery. You answered our questions thoroughly and we felt great support from you and your staff.

Months later, we learned the surgery was a success as sperm had returned. Again, your staff was calming and wonderful to work with, reminding us it would take some time for levels to return to normal. Well, in 2016 we discovered Sherry was pregnant. I can’t begin to describe our feelings when we looked at the home test and saw the positive indicator. Several positive tests later, we were holding each other and crying tears of joy. It was thrilling to see him for the first time on the sonogram and go through the joys of pregnancy together.

On Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 4:30PM we welcomed Killian Joseph into the world. To say he has been the joy of our lives would be an understatement. He is a wonderful little man, walking at just over 9 months, he has been and is a happy inquisitive child.

Sherry and I can’t thank you enough for helping to make him possible. I’ve attached a few photos for you to share.
