Dr. Silber is the best IVF doctor! My husband and I traveled to Missouri from Michigan to go through IVF. We previously tried IVF 6 times in Michigan with 2 doctors. Once with the doctors advice, inserting 4 embryos(no success) the result from that was a ruptured ectopic. Nothing short of a horrible experience. Then my husband found Dr. Silber and said “this mans amazing and so educational let’s give him a try”. So we did we ended up with one embryo and it stuck. We now have a beautiful baby boy named Zayden. If you are contemplating going to doctor Silber, you will not be disappointed! And if you get Dena as a nurse your nerves will be calm. She is also a pro at what she does. We had a lot of questions to say the least. We will be coming back this summer to try again. We feel so confident, the medication regimen is a breeze and the doctor is the pioneer of IVF. He stays current with with medicine. When I went for the transfer I was at peace with it all. Thank you Dr. Silber you have changed our life forever. Not sure how to properly thank you for such a huge blessing. This baby boy is now 6 months old and gets so much love everyday from his proud and lucky parents. Thank you again!
Infertile patients cannot afford to wait for treatment while their eggs get older.
Dr. Sherman Silber, Infertility Center of St. Louis, is offering video consultations for patients who need to plan now for their treatment while stay-at-home orders are in place. He is talking to and evaluating patients in their home to comply with social distancing measures.
Dr. Silber is discovering that patients actually prefer this method of telemedicine consultation over the conventional office visit. Patients have conveyed that “it is so much more convenient and less stressful” to have a telemedicine personal consultation than to take a day off from work to travel to the doctor’s office and sit with other nervous patients in the waiting room.
The COVID-19 pandemic is thus changing much of the way we will do things in the future, and for the better. “Our patients are surprisingly much happier with this approach. Of course, at some point we need to perform hands on treatment. But with this new manner of seeing patients, we can come to the right diagnosis and treatment plan for most patients more efficiently, quickly, and painlessly, with no loss of personal one-on-one communication.” This is a very welcome new era of telemedicine that has been forced on us by the current difficult times.
