Our IVF Journey
After years of hoping, praying, and dreaming of becoming parents, we are incredibly blessed to finally have our son, Owen, in our arms.
Our journey to him was not an easy one. When we began our IVF journey with Dr. Sherman Silber and the team at the Infertility Center of St. Louis, we carried so much hope, but also a lot of uncertainty. There were medications, appointments, procedures, waiting, disappointment, and moments when we wondered if our dream of having a baby would ever become a reality.
After our first transfer did not work, we were heartbroken, but we continued to hold onto hope. Then came our next transfer on December 15, 2025. When we found out we were pregnant, it was a moment we had prayed for and waited for for so long. Every appointment, every ultrasound, and every milestone made the reality of becoming parents feel more and more real.
On August 18, 2026, our greatest blessing arrived. Our son, Owen, was born, and suddenly all of the years of waiting, praying, and hoping made sense. Holding him for the first time was a feeling we will never be able to fully put into words.
We will forever be grateful to Dr. Silber, Dr. DeRosa, and the entire team at the Infertility Center of St. Louis for helping make our dream of becoming parents possible. They were part of a journey that changed our lives forever, and we will always hold a special place in our hearts for them.
We waited and prayed for this moment for years, and today we get to call Owen our son. He is our greatest blessing, and we are endlessly grateful for the people who helped bring him into our lives. ❤️
